Job Summary
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for interior design and smart office construction projects.
- Conduct material take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
- Evaluate and quantify finishing materials, furniture, lighting, smart office systems, and network cabling.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and procurement teams to optimize material selection and budget planning.
- Ensure cost control and material efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Source and analyze material specifications, supplier quotations, and procurement schedules.
- Track and report material usage, wastage, and deviations from budgeted quantities.
- Assist in contract negotiations and verification of subcontractor claims related to material costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, sustainability practices, and project-specific requirements.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, furniture, lighting systems, and smart office components.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and estimation software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, or Primavera P6).
- Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and procurement processes for interior projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects efficiently.
